The X-Files
 

Well, not that this is s a good thing, but I do believe I have spent longer on this set than any other. Couldn't seem to get it right, and after many many redos I have finally decided to surrender. I think a big part of the problem is the lack of decent images. Since I do like the retail art, I tried to stay in the same general design. I will be doing covers for both of the movies, too, but haven't figured out how to incorporate them...either as part of the series or stand alone cases.

Season One.

Season Two.

Season Three.

Season Four.

Season Five. Two versions...one with the regular season five episodes, and one including the first X-Files movie "Fight The Future".

Season Six.

Season Seven.

Season Eight. Damn, that pic on the back freaks me out.

Season Nine. As with season five, there are two versions. The first has the regular season nine episodes, the second includes the 2008 X-Files movie, I Want To Believe.

Reserved for movies.

One question I only have one movie and I put it in the end of season 5.

Have I missed another movie or is it just 2 episode joined together.

Will wait till you figure out where to put it before downloading these.

Never mind just checked IMDB and a sequel is planned for august 2008

Donnie is going to scan the retail labels, since my scanner doesn't work with vista. These covers are done in the same colors as the retail, so should be a good match.

Thanks again Kal, for a great set. I've been using a slightly modified scan of the retail for years because I hadn't previously seen a custom set I liked.

Another outstanding set, Kal! I think I'll be switching over from my current choice. As for the movies... Honestly, I think I would just stick to chronologically, listing "Fight the Future" at the end of season 5 (wasn't it?) and the new one (I Want to Believe) at the end of season 9's listings. I don't think there is any need to make separate covers for just the movies. Just make an alternate version of seasons 5 and 9.

Anyway, these really are beautiful.

Downloaded the covers from the first three seasons, they look awesome!
Any idea when the covers for the 2 movies will follow Kal?

I think I will go with what Ric said for this one, and add the movies to the current covers. In the redo for these I have planned, I will both add them to the series covers, and also do separate covers for the movies. Will get the movies added tonight..thanks for the reminder.

I don't think a stand alone for the movies will work with this style, but I am planning on adding separate movie covers to the version I do for the tv collection.
