Improving Image Quality

Here's a small, easy trick for trying to improve a poorly scanned or highly compressed image into something that can potentially be used on a cover or label. I've used it a few times and I hope it helps someone else out too ... there's a .pdf file in the rar.

It's written for Photoshop but I suspect the method is easily transferable to PSP.

[EDIT] To make it absolutely clear: this tutorial is meant for attempting to improve the look of images you might find lurking on the web for use in customs. In particular it might be useful for older movies with harder-to-find graphics.

It is not something I would ever use on an original scan of a retail cover so don't even think about it! Do the scan properly in the 1st place!

Clear? Good! :thu
