Fast Font RenamerNice little FreeWare program that will rename all the fonts to the original names rather than all these UF001. etc names they sometimes use, renames whole folders in seconds and shows any copies of the same font.
You can view and rename files of the following formats: JPG, BMP, TIF, PSD, PCX, PNG, TGA, WMF. On a side note when it displays a font as a (COPY) double click to make sure as on a couple of occasions i found it wasn't. ;) . . . . Download the high-resolution files here: Last edited by HelloShaun; 21-02-2008 at 11:30. |

Yeah, I found and used it as well a few months ago and found it best to let it handle a few hundred at a time. Other than that it does what it says on the tin!

You guys may also like this program: FontMatcher http://www.terra.es/personal/infern0/
it's a free program kind of like whatthefont.com except that it runs on your computer and checks your own fonts for matches. downside is that it only works for truetype fonts and it's a little slow if you have thousands upon thousands of fonts. |
