HvB 10-04-2008 23:55

Yes you van vote for your own masterpiece

00Daddio 11-04-2008 00:07

Well I want to see more votes than ever before just for the simple fact that all these awesome artist really stepped up to the plate. Unlike the few QUITTERS that we had back out (I will name no names.......publicly). So thank you all for a great turn out.

starblazer 11-04-2008 00:10

top quality selection of covers there congrats all :)

Nemesis_Enforcer 11-04-2008 02:30

There's some really nice work here. Good job to everyone involved.

Thorn 11-04-2008 05:41

The Raging Bull cover is my favorite. I've seen nearly all the movies and although there might be other covers that took more time and work #28 fits to its movie so perfectly like no other. That's also how I will determine my vote in the next rounds. To go into details is a little hard if so many different movies are involved.

Tusk 11-04-2008 09:53

very good work everybody, it was hard to choose but I managed to decide :) I'm looking forward to the next round!

Borofett 11-04-2008 10:06

Wow, if only we could vote for them all.

Very Nice work artists.

Hard to choose!

Glynty 11-04-2008 10:40

Great work everyone , it was a real hard choice to make

flyers2thecup 11-04-2008 20:04

i don't think my brain can handle this. too many great cover! i would have gone with #13 had the picture on the back been about 5 seconds later in the film. :b

Now now Flyers you should have voted for that cover just because of the restraint that the artist must of used to keep this a family site.

celm02 12-04-2008 00:09

Wow, really amazing turnout guys. I think it's kinda unfair we can only vote for one. Considering the material around for any movie from the '80's makes the creativity that's been put in so much more impressive. My favourites:

#1 - The Dead Zone - Love the colour scheme and the front art is very nice.

#23 - Sid & Nancy - I think I know the great artist behind thise one, and as per usual, great use of colour, and really like the layout of the back.

#28 - Raging Bull - Fantastic use of the textures of images, a great well rounded cover.

#29 - I know that FBI File covers have been done many times before (with varying degrees of quality), but this one looks really well produced.

sleepyhead 12-04-2008 06:20

I'd definitely have preferred to vote for a choice of top three.
With so many great entries it's nearly impossible to pick just one.

Ironride 12-04-2008 07:15

Fantastic work by EVERYONE! Really hard to pick just one - but I did. :thu

Unfortunately this option was unavailable in the system it is 1 vote or unlimited so we had to go with just one.

flipper 12-04-2008 19:08

Lots of great covers, it was a tough choice. Congrats to all for a job well done!

HvB 12-04-2008 21:49

00Daddio 14-04-2008 18:03

Vote for your favorite or vote for mine eather way is good with me.

Darksaber 14-04-2008 20:21

Your moaning about people not voting in this thread, maybe its because no one can find the direct link to this post, It took me a while to find it

Perhaps in your news post with the picture of uncle sam, you could also add the link to this voting page.

Perhaps you did not notice the bright yellow link in the site index on the home page that says VOTE NOW or the huge poll on the left side of the home page. We have placed as many links to this page as possible and also maintained a steady response in this thread (so as to keep it circulating the home page) as possible. I am slighty offended by your statement that we are moaning as we have put much effort into this competition as have all the artist involved. However if you consider moaning than so be it at least it got your attention and I thank you for your time to vote and also respond.

purpleorc 14-04-2008 21:44

Such an array of talented artists for covers and labels it really did make voting extremely hard. Good luck to all those involved in the competition :D

shadrach 14-04-2008 21:55

HvB 14-04-2008 21:59
