Smallville - Custom Summaries

Season 1

In 1989, a meteor shower burst from the heavens, raining fire and terror on the idyllic town of Smallville, Kansas. Twelve years later, high-school freshman Clark Kent wrestles with his fate. Between the boy he thought he was, and the man he is destined to become, lie the compelling stories of SMALLVILLE, the popular action series that reinvents the Superman saga from its roots. All 21 first-season episodes are included in this amazing collection, powered by bonus material fit for a legend.

Season 2

Superman’s roots grow deeper in the phenomenal second season of SMALLVILLE. This heroic collection includes all 23 episodes, plus extras well suited for the Boy of Steel. This year finds Clark grappling with his calling; was he sent to Earth to save humanity or destroy it? Lana and Clark grow closer with each other, while Lex gets married...twice! Lionel lures Chloe towards the dark side, Martha & Jonathan receive miraculous news, and Pete becomes the newest keeper of Clark’s otherworldly secret.

Season 3

Season Three of SMALLVILLE deals with Clark fighting the will of Jor-El to have him accept his Kryptonian destiny. Living as a criminal in Metropolis, Clark’s been using Red Kryptonite to hide from his past. Fearing for his son’s future, Jonathan strikes a deal with Jor-El to bring Clark home. Upon his return, Clark wrestles with the consequences of his actions, which have hurt his friends and family. Conflicts old and new, plus Lionel Luthor’s growing curiosity, make for a thrilling season that’s difficult to match.

Season 4

Tragedies old and new abound in Season Four of SMALLVILLE. Having vanished three months earlier, Clark Kent returns with no memory of his life, seemingly under Jor-El’s mind-control. Meanwhile, Lois Lane arrives in town to investigate Chloe’s strange disappearance. Mysterious events soon unfold, and Clark begins to learn his life’s true purpose. But history often repeats itself, and as Smallville is hit by another meteor shower, the Last Son of Krypton races against time to uncover his legacy.

Season 5

Aliens invade, and the Fortress of Solitude rises in the Arctic, but that’s only the beginning in SMALLVILLE’s fifth year. Lois helps Jonathan run for state senator, Chloe gets in on the Daily Planet’s ground floor, and Lana finds herself falling for Lex! Lionel has become a vessel of Jor-El’s knowledge, striving to prepare Clark against the Kryptonian android Brainiac. But none of Clark’s prior battles will help him confront the psychotic General Zod, who seeks to enslave our world like he did with Krypton.

Season 6

Season Six of SMALLVILLE opens with Earth’s cities in chaos. Lex Luthor, under Zod’s evil control, has exiled Clark in the deadly Phantom Zone. Freed by an ally of Krypton’s past, Clark returns to find several convicts have escaped as well. Vowing to defeat them, the Boy of Steel gains allies old and new. The reclusive archer Oliver Queen, old friends Impulse, Aquaman, and Cyborg, and even a visitor from Mars all join in the fight. But Clark’s biggest
challenge soon arrives, in a truly bizarre version of himself!

Season 7

SMALLVILLE’s seventh year is one of revelation and reversal. All his life, Clark thought he was the last of his bloodline. But when his cousin Kara makes a dramatic entrance, untold secrets soon resurface about Krypton’s House of El. Meanwhile, the return of Oliver Queen signals the beginning of the end, while Bizarro and Brainiac launch sinister plans of their own. Amidst the chaos and confusion, heroes are tested, fates are sealed, and the symphony of Clark’s epic journey builds toward its final crescendo.

Season 8

The SMALLVILLE universe is engulfed in mystery, horror, and intrigue in its eighth year. With Lex Luthor presumed dead, the elusive Tess Mercer emerges as his successor to the powerful LuthorCorp dynasty. With her every calculated move, she aims to find her vanished mentor, no matter the risk. But an unknown shadow from Clark’s past also presents itself, in a Kryptonian genetics experiment gone berserk. With crises surrounding him, Clark risks everything to protect the public...from Doomsday.

Season 9

The Red-Blue Blur is no more, in Season 9 of SMALLVILLE. Replacing his former colors with mournful black, Clark declares his humanity dead, patrolling the streets of Metropolis at night as a guarded anti-hero. But more Kryptonian secrets soon arrive, in the form of clones led by a younger Major Zod. Realizing he needs both personas to survive, Clark walks the line between justice and destruction. In the end, even more ties and fates are tested, and the son of Jor-El must make a terrible choice of which planet - which home - to save.

Season 10

The final season of SMALLVILLE opens with the Kandorians transported into outer space, and Clark Kent ready to take his final steps. Haunted by visions of Jonathan, Krypton’s last son must solve the puzzle of a pervasive darkness driving people to commit the most unspeakable atrocities. Tess discovers her true origin, a gentler form of Brainiac takes Clark on a trip down memory lane, and Chloe returns with an agenda all her own. But none of these events will stop the coming Apokalips; for that, the Earth needs a Superman...
