I got this in a place where I worked, but no clue where they bought these pieces of polarized glass.
They used it to scan glossy originals, since this kind of glass change the direction of reflected lights, so even glossy surface behaves like matte ones...
A slightly change in the color occurs (nothing that cannot be corrected in PS), and no blurs is added.
