Spooks The Complete Series
 

My custom cover set for Spooks. Made to fit 22 - 25mm 6 x DVD case and single width standard cases.

PLEASE NOTE: After Series 8 it became necessary to re-do the 25mm spine covers as I ran out of image for the spanning spine. What this means is that if you downloaded the previous series 1 - 8 you can still use Series 9/10 as below, but the spanning images will 'start again' at Series 9. If you want to retain a full spanning spine, you will have to re-download Series 1 - 8 now that I have updated them and print them again. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Great set Kampar! Now all I need is the 1" spine version! ;)

Hmmm. 1" is sort of ... kinda about 25mm. It's hard these days as there are so many case types out there, so I made these with a 25.6mm spine, hoping that it would work for 1" cases (1" = 25.4mm) and also for a 22mm spine (which I buy these days) where the slight wrap around at each spine edge then helps with the spanning spine effect. Or so I hoped! Try one and see ... let me know how it turns out!

The bummer with this set is that there are very, very few reasonable graphics for Spooks out there. Even if you download the 1024x768 wallpapers from the BBC site they save at the correct resolution but at a very low JPEG quality so i'm afraid I had to concentrate on the back covers and 'skimp' on the front. But I think they turned out okay - they look good on my shelf - much better than the horrible plastic sheathed cases the originals come in!

Sorry, I'm getting old, I meant 14mm spines! I have seasons 1-4 and so far they are all less than 6 discs so I use the overlapping cases to save space. I would convert these but I'd essentially have to redo the spines entirely.

Any chance you would redo the spines for standard amaray? Don't feel obligated in the least. I know what you mean about the lack of material. I was going to do my own MI-5 (as it's called in the US) set but couldn't find hardly anything to work with! Thanks again for this set!

I suspected someone would ask ... yes, i'll add a standard amaray case size. Might take a day or two ...

Something I just noticed - no biggie, but on series 2-5 under 'Starring' instead of the actress Nicola Walker you include the character's name 'Ruth Evershed'.

lol ... I tend to forget about that as I have a colour laser printer. I'll think about the labels. They would have to be pretty basic as, actually, I really hate doing labels. And they get stuck in the printer. Ba-da-boom.

Basic is my middle name! Just figured if you had the artwork available you could drop it in a template with some disc numbers! No need to dirty it up with a bunch of studio logos, ratings etc. Would be much appreciated!

Ok, Black ink is refilled so its print time!!!! and you can always shout me up if you can't be doing with the label hassle.

There was me wondering why my last black cartridge lasted just over a week and then I remembered that I'd printed these... but damn they look good.

Finally got round to watching the 6th series and I think it's the best yet.

a great set mate, usually like the bigger disc cases just purely for the spine picture but as season 1 is only 3 disc will go for the amaray set. thanks for doing both though as does spoil us all.
