Very nice. Should come in useful. :)
Didn't work as well as i expected it to for me, I'm probably doing something wrong
An Excellent Tutorial. Works a treat. Spent the whole weekend using it for my Thinpacks... Thanks for this 00Daddio.

sorry to hear that sauron, the beauty of extracting this way tho is once you have you path made and saved you can try the extraction process again just try adjusting some of your settings in there. Try a smaller highlighting brush. What where your results?
When i select alpha 1 in the extraction mode nothing happends and i can use the fill tool, what am I doing wrong? I do exactly as it says :(
Odds are MrCracker that you did not stroke the path or the settings for your brush was not set to "BLACK" 4px at 90% hardness. Go back to your created path and select it then click the stoke path button.
Thanks for this, Gonna give it a go.
I think i may have missed out the stroke path bit will give it another go and see if i have any luck this time
thanks will try it soon
I too like sauron was having difficulties with this but have just finally managed to do it right - some problems with the stroke path for some reason. Got a really good result and many thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks, I'am going to try this this weekend
