P.S. How did you move the "Nick Swardson" title from your DVD Cover down into that blue band? Do you have any suggestions for where I could go on the web to learn how to do that?

You need to learn how to make tt's
After a while it get's very easy but needs a lot of practice.
Maybe google for "extracting text/ images with photoshop" .
There should be numerous tutorials
