Why does the file download as an RAR file, that has to be extracted. Downloading a JPG file would be easier. Thanks, Phil.

ALL uploads here must be in .rar or .zip files per the preference of the owner. Perhaps you could ask HvB via PM and get the 'official' reason why this is the case. :)

quite simply its beacuse rar files allow files to be compressed and downloaded quicker. It harks back to slow internet connections, when viewing a full size dvd cover would take an age. It also allows us to track account use, its nbot something thats going to change. Personally I dont see the problem, there are a multitue of free programs for extracting rar files.

one last thing, we stopped accepting zips a long times agao, its all rars now
