It's amazing isn't it. You toil away for years trying to put covers for classic films together from hard-to-find artwork and if you're lucky one or two people who have been looking for that cover for ages will download it.

Then, you make a reasonably easy cover for a B-Grade horror movie and you get 45 downloads in a few days!

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments for what started out as just another of LINK99's requests for a dubious horror movie cover.

@Kampar: Just watched the film, because so many people downloaded your cover. And I can clearly say: Your cover is many times better than the movie. Wish the filmmakers had so much talent for their job as you have to make covers...

Glad you liked the cover, sorry about the film experience!

It always seem to be rather odd movies where the covers are downloaded to often. My Water Horse cover was downloaded nearly 280 times, definitely not what the movie is actually worth. Perhaps we tend to make covers for movies that other designers not care for. For something like Iron Man there are 10 covers around before the film is even released. So none of them gets downloaded very much, because they have to 'share'.
