Batman (Bale) 6 Disc Costume Cover ( 22mm Spine )

NB:- The supposed "standard" passed from cover site to cover site comes from old supplies / designs measurements of the 6 disc case having a 1 inch spine. However my 22mm spine means a cover size of 3326x2175, I have done these covers at this size mainly because I have found more and more suppliers changing over to the newer slimmer 22mm spines. Certainly in the U.K. they are a lot easier to find + buy compared to the old 1" spined ones. ( In fact I don't know of anywhere that still stocks the 1" ones anymore!!! I personally haven't been able to get any for over a year now. )

If you do still have the old 1 inch spines and wish to use these covers, there would also very little lost (about 3mm from the top) if you were to scale my covers to fit a 1 inch template. (Roughly increase to 101.5% width & height.)

With the forthcoming Dark Knight and that leading to no doubt another double disc release, I have made a "Keaton" version too so the 12 discs are cased.

Enjoy.

Nice work so far, but the back looks really empty. Also, I thought this shot might work better for the back panel; let me know if you want the hi-res version of it.

Not a WIP moviefan2k4, so there's no "so far" about it. It is as it is!!!

Just out of curiosity, what size case are your covers sized for? I downloaded this one, and the spine was 256 pixels, rather than the customary 300 for a 6-disc case.

These are designed for the newer slim 22mm spined 6 disc cases which is 260 pixels, compared to the old 1 inch spine at 300 pixels. And as I always find I have to crop off outer edges, I take off 4 pixels ( which is only equivalent to a mere 0.34mm ) to compensate the paper fitting round the corners of the spine under the outer plastic of these cases.

Hope this clears things up for you.
