The Host
 

This is the color version of my BD cover for The Host.

There are two different backgrounds, each with two sizes. Version one is the animated background, version two is a metal background. Both come in the 3173 x 1762 12mm spine and the 3212 x 1762 14mm spine sizes.

Not grasping the difference in backgrounds, could someone explain please? Huge fan of the artist. Any chance of getting this without the page curl? Love the work, just not a fan of the page curl look. To me it takes away from the awesome work and time involved. THANKS!!

Thanks...well, long story. Originally, there was to only be one design. Black and White, with the areas behind the text done with a collage background. Then someone requested a 14mm spine version. Ok. THEN someone complained that the collage background didn't suit all of the movies in the collection, so I added a second version that has a plain metal texture behind the text and credits. THEN the request came for a color version of them all...

So, two sizes of spine. Each spine size done with a collage background (first preview pic) and a metal texture (second preview pic). All done in both color and black and white. Yep, try keeping that straight when you are making them...:pff
