Excellence in Custom Cover making. I look forward to viewing all the 'Bond' covers on my shelf for years to come. Thanks for sharing and I tip my hat to you........
|
Thank you...I feel like this series has been a year in the making going through several variations. Also I want to pont out that Nissen has agreed to do "Skyfall" with the template.
|
Great stuff. I can't wait to print all of them!
|
They look pretty sweet all lined up on my shelves :)
|
It's funny how so many series have amazing poster artwork (Star Wars, Star Trek, Back to the Future, Gremlins, Nightmare on Elm Street, and of course Bond) and yet they are SO OPPOSED to using it.
I never understood it and I never will. |
Mahalo!
|
Tremendous job, DrrnHarr! I dreamed about it, you came and made it. Many thanks, and keep the good work going! There are so many movies with beautiful original poster art, and yet their BR covers just suck...
Cheers! |
First of all thx for these awesome covers, i really love 'em!
But, i have 2 questions: 1)How do i print them in the rights size? Do i ned a special programm? 2) Were they made for 11mm or 15mm cases? Greetz |
Thank you.
The blu-ray custom covers were designed to fit the standard MGM United States cases. The best program I have come across for ensuring that covers are printed at the correct size is UndercoverXP. Its a free online download at: http://www.undercoverxp.tk/ |
These Bond covers are a lifesaver! Just the way they should be when you buy them!
|
Added a Manila Folder edition as a fun alternative.
|
This collection is truly stunning, I commend you on the effort and detail put into these custom covers, thank you so much!
|
Thanks!

Awesome covers.
I downloaded all and I noticed some errors in the aspect ratio grid on the backs of the following: Dr. No states 1.37:1 From Russia With Love 1.37:1 Goldfinger 1.37:1 I believe these should be 1.66:1 Live and Let Die states 1.66:1, should be 1.85:1 Man With The Golden Gun states 1.66:1, should be 1.85:1 Casino Royale (Craig) states 1.78:1, should be 2.40:1 Never Say Never again states 2.20:1, should be 2.35:1 Any chance of fixing these? Thanks again. You do great work!! |

Obviously I'll need to buy some cases if I want to use these fantastic covers, and I'd like to make sure I get the right size! |
They are all designed to fit the standard MGM size for Blu-ray covers (here in the U.S.) i.e. 3165 pixels by 1748 pixels. (in inches that translates to 10.55 inches by 5.827 inches / In mm that translates to 267.97mm by 148mm).
Blu-ray covers in the UK tend to have a slightly wider spine on them (at least the region free BDs I have ordered from the UK do). |
Thanks. Yes, it's the spine width that's the problem, US cases are thinner than those in the UK. I'm just having trouble finding out what the standard is, I'm finding both 11mm and 12.5mm cited. I'm not even sure how much of a difference there is between them (in terms of the cover fitting, obviously).

Great work.. is the Skyfall-Cover already available?
Greetings from Germany |
It's in progress, but will not be made available until the special features listing is published.

Hey,
Is it possible to add a big 007-logo over the front of all the movies? (like the DVD Special-Edition). I don't know how much work that would mean, but i think that looks great. |
DrrnHarr,
Thanks for the Bond covers. I downloaded them all. However, it seems that when I print the cover for Dr. No (the one with the black spine) there is a grey rectangle that appears around the 007 logo on the front cover (the one that is partially covered by Connery's head). Is there anything I can do to fix that? I downloaded the Manilla version and the grey rectangle doesn't appear on that one but I like the black cover better. |
@Drrnharr - Your manila style covers are absolutely superb! Loving them all!
|
thanks!
