Flash Gordon
 

Here is my custom cover for the cult classic "Flash Gordon" (1980).

The cover image holds a special nostalgic value for me since it was the cover of the U.K novelization that I read back in 1980.

For the Universal logo I used the image of the planet that bears a resemblance to the image of Earth at the beginning of the movie. I was also able to locate a vector image of my favorite Flash Gordon logo.

I did add a stroke to make it stand out more (and a drop shadow on the spine) because it was getting seriously blended in with the background.
