Someone asked could I make the Haynes Manual Transformer Collection DVD cover into a Blu-ray version. Here it is then. This fits the case with the 170 pixel (14mm) spine. It should be easy enough to alter for the narrower one.

Now THIS is an excellent cover. COTM for me lol.

Only a 25mm spine option for the 3 disc case would make this better ;)

Well done for this brilliant idea. Love it.

Hi crazyhorse, do you mean a cover like this?

The Vortex 6 disc case for blu-ray

If so it would be no problem but it seemed a little excessive to have a 6-way case for three films (unless you include the extras in there which would not be included on the cover - no room).

Let me know and I'll get on with it.

Hiya, cheers for the reply. Yes, like that, or this http://www.customaniacs.org/forum/cu...ollection.html

All proper Amaray vortex cases for anything more than 2 disks all have the 25mm spine. So many of the 3 disk trilogy cases or 4 disk quadrilogy cases I have will only go with a 25mm spine. It's not just 6 disk cases.

The only cases with a standard spine are 1 or 2 disk.

So far I have the 25mm spine covers for

LOTR Trilogy
Pirates OTC Trilogy
Rambo Collection
Bourne Trilogy
Back To The Future Trilogy
Superman Collection.

Most of which were actually from here. Many designers now seem to offer a 14mm and a 25mm option for multi movie cases which is excellent for us.

I have to say mate, in a collection they look fantastic.

I'd love you to do one if you ever had the time.

It's a classic lol.

Not fussed about extras by the way ;)

Hi crazyhorse, already done it for you mate ;-), I anticipated your answer. I altered the spine a bit, if you want it changed let me know. Interesting information regarding the vortex case mind, I never knew the 25mm (which is 295 pixels or 1") spine cases were made for anything else other than 6 disks, nice to know for future reference.

HERE it is

I've mad a LOTR trilogy set, maybe I'll make them into a set of these Vortex for BD.

That is fantastic Fejinwales, cheers buddy. Can't thank you enough mate.

Just waiting for my new cases to arrive and i'll grab it.

Can't hurt to make yr LOTR if it's easy enough to modify. I' belong to a number of cover art sites and personally It seems the 25mm option is becoming more and more popular for multi disc movies.

Thanks again for all your work.
