The Criterion Collection 083
The Harder They Come is presented in the director’s preferred aspect ratio of 1.66:1. This digital transfer was created from the original 16mm A/B camera negative. The sound was mastered from the original optical tracks. This transfer was supervised by Perry Henzell and Maria Palazzola. Telecine colorist: Skip Kimball. Thousands of instances of film dirt and debris were also removed with the MTI digital restoration system to further enhance the image.
