The Criterion collection 189
The White Sheik is presented in its original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.33:1. This new digital transfer was created from a 35mm fine-grain restored positive. The soundtrack was mastered at 24-bit from a 35mm optical soundtrack negative; restoration tools were used to reduce clicks, pops, hiss, and crackle. To further enhance the image, the MTI Digital Restoration System was used to remove thousands of instances of dirt, debris, and scratches. |
