Indeed. I find that Stephen King's non-horror stuff tends to be the best... The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and Hearts In Atlantis... Then you get crap like Dreamcatcher and 1408 (though I've only seen the unrated version of 1408, and have found out it has a different ending etc. to the original).
