The Customaniacs DVD Covers Credits System
Why a credit system? We spent a long time looking at many other methods and problems that arise in cover sites and settled on this system and the rates involved, that strike the best balance in achieving our goals of:
- Protecting the work of the contributors here.
- Encouraging every member to contribute with their own work.
- Allowing the maintenance of a fast and efficient site for your benefit.
- Your credits will never expire so no worry about renewing membership subscriptions or setting up a regular bank/card payment. So you get the best value!
Ideally you will become an active member and upload your own work to gain credits but if you cannot or do not wish to, you can simply purchase credits. Credits are purchased in blocks and you get better value with the purchase of larger blocks.
Credits cannot be "bought back" or refunded.
No system will ever suit every member and this is our system!

As previously mentioned you can also buy blocks of Credits at the following rate:

Credits will be applied to your account only when the system confirms the purchase, BUT please pay attention to notices offered when purchasing credits as different methods affect the timescale for this.
Purchasing credits does NOT exclude you from adhering to site rules, in the worst case scenario we will ban any member committing a serious infringement, such as uploading covers from here to other sites or trying to circumvent the credit system and any credit balance will be forfeited.
Now simply choose how you wish to gain credits and follow the instructions.
How the Up and download credit system works:
Every resource will initially go into a holding area for a brief check on quality, suitability and content, once passed into the main site the relevant credit value will be applied.
Please note that due to volume we will not enter into discussion about rejected work except in unique circumstances, if work has been rejected it is because it does not adhere to site rules.
The system will register each rar file in a thread, so if you upload a custom cover set that has 5 covers in it then so long as you create 5 distinct rars you will be credited with 50 credits (5x10).
However we will impose restrictions on this, so if you create a label set that has very minor changes from each disc such as a colour layer change or something like “disc 1” changing to “disc 2” then we will require that set of labels to be in just one rar or at least in sets of 4 labels to a rar. This is an example only, the intention is to not penalize a downloader in having to download several discs/items that are near identical. We will also balance this with our view of how much initial work may have gone into the making the set.
DO NOT UPLOAD A LABEL OR SCAN INTO A CUSTOM THREAD WITH THE INTENTION OF GAINING ILLEGAL EXTRA CREDITS, OR ANY SIMILAR ACTION.
AND DO NOT SPLIT RAR FILES TO GAIN EXTRA CREDITS!
When you download your account will be debited accordingly.
